Breaking: 2 killed as stampede occurs at Mela in Kalimpong

GANGTOK: In a tragic incident reported from Kalimpong in West Bengal, at least two people were killed and four critically injured in a stampede during a local fair.

The stampede occured at the Mela ground in Kalimpong, during a musical programme where Nepal's famous rapper Ashis Rana aka Lahure, had performed.

The deceased  have been identified as Anita Chettri and Binita Chettri.
