AGARTALA: The Tripura government has decided to continue COVID-19 curfew restrictions for another week as a spike of Coronavirus cases continue in the state, after evaluating the problem over the previous week.

In places under the control of the Agartala Municipal Corporation, the curfew restrictions will last the same period of time. While three municipalities have been added to similar curfew restrictions, four municipalities have had their restrictions lifted due to a substantial reduction in new infections.

Curfews were imposed in 12 municipalities, including AMC, till 5 a.m. on June 26 as per a previous decision.
