CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2020 date sheet release postponed

The Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Saturday announced the cancellation of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) date sheet.

The date sheet is the schedule for the remaining of the Board exams which got cancelled amid the corona pandemic.

It is expected, that the date sheet will now be announced on May 18, 2020.

Taking stock of the situation, the HRD minister said, "CBSE is taking into consideration some additional technical aspects before finalizing the datesheets of the board exams of classses 10th and 12th, due to which, the date sheets will now be released by Monday i.e. 18-05-2020. Inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted."

The announcement for the complete date sheet was slated for 16 May 5PM.

As per media reports, there has been rounds of a fake WhatsApp forward claiming to be the date sheet of the CBSE board exam for 10th and 12th is being circulated.

The CBSE board exams of class 10 and class 12 were postponed due to the corona virus pandemic. Students all of the country are in confusion ever since withtheir exams hanging due to the Covid19 lockdown. With new cases rising in India, the board exams will be difficult for the CBSE to condusted. However, the authorities have decided to formulise a schedule and announce it in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, in Assam, the state government has extended the calender years from April for the state board and will take key decisions in the upcoming months for the students of the state.
