NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday submitted the evaluation criteria for class 12 results to the Supreme Court.

It informed that the evaluation for Class 12 students for theory will be based on 30% marks from Class X, 30% from Class XI, and 40% from Class XII.

The marks for practicals/internal assessment will also be added.

To rule out any kind of biasedness in giving marks, the resulting committee will be there for each of the schools.

As per the report, the difference in marking mechanisms in different schools will be looked after by a moderation committee.

A result committee will have to be formed in each school to take into account the marks secured by the students in the three examinations.

The results will be declared by July 31.

The announcement of the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 was made on June 2.

This decision has been taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi pointed out that the decision to cancel CBSE Class 12 Board exams 2021 has been taken in the interest of students.
