CID raids business establishment of SI exam scam in Guwahati

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Assam on Sunday conducted a raid at a business establishment in Guwahati owned by Saroj Sarma, an accused in SI exam scam. The raid was conducted at Trishna Global Private Limited at Hriday Ranjan Path in the Zoo Road locality of the city.

In the raid, the CID sleuths seized a Duster car which was used by Saroj Sarma. The CID team also brought Saroj Sarma with them during the raid. They reportedly found a printing press at the office.

Saroj who was associated with Akshay Telecommunication, the company which got sub-contract to conduct SI written exam was arrested on Friday from Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati.
