"The students had reached their hostels a few days ago as the semester examination is starting from March 1. Today, they had gone to the RNB civil hospital for a RAT test where they were found to be COVID-19 positive," the source informed.

"All the necessary steps have been initiated for the treatment of the students who tested positive today. The students of CIT have demanded to increase awareness on health among the students and give proper medical care to those who have tested positive," Bhaskar Phukan, Deputy Commissioner of Kokrajhar, said.
