Congress is the sole enemy of the AGP Party: Atul Bora

Guwahati, March 20, 2019:

Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) president Atul Bora said the Congress party is the sole enemy of the BJP party.

Atul Bora said, “Congress is our sole enemy and we will defeat the Congress Party. The mindset of the youth leader will benefit the AGP party. We moved into an alliance with the BJP from 2001. We have been in alliance with the BJP party from time to time. We have again moved into an alliance to curb the corruption by the Congress party. There is no need to reassure about our stand regarding the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.”

AGP originated from the student’s body All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) which is a non-political organization. Bora added, “We have been vocal for the indigenous people of Assam and even we have moved into the street. Some particular political parties have been criticizing our alliance.”

The AGP chief also appealed the AGP workers to vote for the alliance party and help them win in the election.
