As of today, India has reached the 74,281 mark in terms of Covid19 positive cases. The country currently has 47,480 active cases with 22,454 cured and discharged. The total number of deaths is 2,415.
Among the states, Maharashtra has recorded 24,427 cases with 5,125 cured and 921 deaths. The western state is followed by Gujarat and Maharasthra. Gujarat has 8903 cases with 3,246 cured and 537 deaths. Tamil Nadu has crossed 8,718 cases with 2,134 cured and 61 deaths.
In Northeast India: Tripura has the highest number of cases followed by Assam. Sikkim so far has 0 home cases.
