COVID-19: Positivity rate declines in Delhi, improvement in oxygen situation

NEW DELHI: Manish Sisodia, Deputy chief minister of Delhi, has announced today that the COVID positivity rate has declined in Delhi as well as the requirement of medical oxygen.

"The lack of corona cases in Delhi is a matter of great relief," tweeted Manish Sisodia on Thursday.

He further added, " Delhi now requires 582 MT oxygen instead of 700 MT."

The Delhi government has also requested the Centre to allocate the remaining oxygen to the needy states.

The positivity rate of Delhi gone down to 14 per cent as the state on Thursday recorded 10,400 fresh COVID-19 cases.

As many as 14,071 people had been recovered from the virus over the past 24 hours.

Currently, Delhi has 82,725 active COVID-19 cases.
