New Delhi, February 26, 2020:

The violent protests over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act or CAA in the northeast part of Delhi have left eighteen dead since Sunday.

The agitation, which initially was sparked with some 600 people's demonstration demanding the repealing of the new law, turned communal within hours. People representing two opposite groups, one in favor of CAA and the other in protest of CAA started pelting stones at each other.
