Manipur’s Olympic medallist MC Mary Kom and Assam's sprinter Hima Das has been nominated for Indian Sports Honour.

The second edition of the Indian Sports Honour (ISH) will be held in Mumbai. Earlier, it was scheduled to be held on Saturday but due to the Pulwama terror attack, the organizers have postponed the programme. The ISH jury will decide the winners of these categories. Sanjiv Goenka, Pullela Gopichand, Abhinav Bindra, Sardar Singh, Mahesh Bhupathi, PT Usha, and Anjali Bhagwat are in the ISH jury.

The other nominees are shuttler PV Sindhu, wrestler Vinesh Phogat and heptathlete Swapna Barman, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, badminton player Kidambi Srikanth, wrestler Bajrang Punia, shooter Saurabh Choudhary and ace cueist Pankaj Advani.

Indian Sports Honours are awards given annually by the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group in association with the Virat Kohli Foundation to outstanding sports personalities from India. The awards were founded in 2017.
