The election office also organized various events to garner the masses through piggyback activities.

As National Deworming Day was celebrated today across the country deworming tablets were provided to children between the ages of 1-19 years to ensure good health.

The District Administration uniquely integrates the efforts and expertise of different programmes to ensure the participation of citizens in the democratic process.

The administration had distributed simple essentials like combs, sanitary Napkins, etc for adult women with SVEEP messages printed so people are reminded of their civic responsibility on a daily basis as they go about their grooming regime.

In Goalpara, the District Election Office is particularly ramping up SVEEP activities in the areas with Polling stations having low overall and low female voter turnout.

District Election Officer Smti Varnali Deka, IAS  with the active participation of these Poshan Clubs, has successfully reached out to hitherto unenrolled voters of all eligible age groups and demographies especially focusing on 18-19 age group, Persons with Disability, women, and weaker sections.

The population in tea garden areas has also been mobilized via Poshan Clubs to get enrolled. More concerted efforts are being planned to realise in letter and spirit the Motto 'No voter to be left behind'

Today as the occasion of National De-worming Day has enlightened the people to realise the importance of deworming to ensure good health - the importance to vote was also highlighted, while raising the enthusiasm of people to fulfill their duty and emerge as responsible community members altogether.
