Few more special trains to run in NFR during festive season: details here

MALIGAON: To alleviate the increased passenger traffic during the holiday season, some special trains will begin running in the NRF from next week.

The special trains will run - for four trips each between Dibrugarh and Puri, once between Anand Vihar (T) – Katihar, Delhi – Katihar, and Anand Vihar (T) – Jogbani, and twice between New Jalpaiguri and Kanyakumari.

Here's the details of the special trains to be run:

1. Dibrugarh – Puri (05970) Festival Special will run for four trips - on November 7, 14,21 and 28,2021(sunday)leaving from Dibrugarh at 19-25 hours to reach Puri at 11-00 hours on Tuesday.

In return direction, Puri – Dibrugarh Festival Special (05969) will run for four trips – on November 10, 17, 24 and December 1, 2021(Wednesday) leaving from Puri at 05-00 hours to reach Dibrugarh at 20-50 hours on Thursday.

2. Train No. 05969 Puri – Dibrugarh Festival Special will run for four trips - on November 10,17, 24 November and December 1 2021(Wednesday) leaving from Puri at 05-00 hours to reach Dibrugarh at 20-50 hours on Thursday.

3. Train No. 09644/09643 (Anand Vihar (T) – Katihar – Anand Vihar (T)- Festival special) will run for one trip from each direction.

The train will leave from Anand Vihar (T) at 17-10 hours on October 31, 2021 to reach Katihar junction at 20-00 hours on next day.

In return direction, the train will leave from Katihar junction at 23-30 hours on November 1,2021 to reach Anand Vihar (T) at 00-45 hours on third day.

4. Train No-09634/09633 (Delhi – Katihar – Delhi- Festival special) will run for one trip from each direction.

The train will leave from Delhi at 15-05 hours on November 1, 2021 to reach Katihar junction at 19-30 hours on next day.

In return direction, the train will leave from Katihar junction at 22-30 hours on November 2, 2021 to reach Delhi at 02-45 hours on third day.

5.Train No-09632/09631(Anand Vihar (T) - Jogbani – Anand Vihar (T)-Festival special) will run for one trip from each direction.

The train will leave from Anand Vihar (T) at 15-30 hours on November 1,2021 to reach Jogbani at 23-15 hours on next day.

In return direction, the train will leave from Jogbani at 01-20 hours on November 3,2021 to reach Anand Vihar (T) at 08-45 hours on next day.

6.Train No. 05706 (New Jalpaiguri – Kanyakumari-Festival Special) will run for two trips - on November 5 and 12, 2021(Friday) leaving from New Jalpaiguri at 15-10 hours to reach Kanyakumari at 22-00 hours on Sunday.

In return direction, Train No. 05705- (Kanyakumari – New Jalpaiguri Festival Special) will run for two trips on November 8 and 15,2021(Monday) leaving from Kanyakumari at 17-30 hours to reach New Jalpaiguri at 00-10 hours on Thursday.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey.
