Former Afghan Minister now delivers pizza in Germany

Former minister of Afghanistan Syed Ahmad Shah Saadat was spotted delivering pizzas in Germany’s Leipzig. Reportedly, pictures of ex-communication and IT minister in an orange vest belonging to Lieferando food delivery stafff in Germany, took the internet in storm.

Former minister of Afghanistan Syed Ahmad Shah Saadat was spotted delivering pizzas in Germany’s Leipzig.

Reportedly, pictures of ex-communication and IT minister in an orange vest belonging to Lieferando food delivery stafff in Germany, took the internet in storm.

According to the reports, a journalist tweeted about meeting a man who claimed to be a part of the Ghani led government in Afghanistan for two years.

The former minister a highly qualified professional with a master degree in communications and electronic engineering from Oxford University and was a minister from 2018.

"I have nothing to feel guilty about," said the 49-year-old in his orange uniform.

Reportedly he told “The fall of the Ghani government so quickly was not expected. So, how difficult was it for an ex-dignitary to give up his lifestyle in Afghanistan for the rigours of working class? “I feel safe in Germany. I am happy to be with family. I want to save money and do a German course and study further.”
