Former Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal's convoy pilot car met with an accident

GUWAHATI: Former Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal's convoy pilot car met with an accident this evening.

The accident caused minor injuries to three security guards in the pilot car.

The accident took place in Lakhoujan, Bokakhat when a speeding dumper with the registration number AS05 C 6309 plowed into the CM convoy's security vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

Former chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal's convoy was travelling from Guwahati to Majuli.

The injured were rushed to the Shahid Kamala Miri Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital, Bokakhat.
