Four NDFB (S) cadres apprehended at Indo-Bhutan border

Guwahati, January 20, 2019:

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) forces stationed at Gossaigaon near the Indo-Bhutan border nabbed four cadres of the NDFB(S) today morning. An operation was launched based on specific input by members of 31st Battalion of the SSB in the Ripu Reserve Forest area in Assam’s Chirang district.

The operations resulted in the ops team nabbing four cadres (two female and two male) of the insurgent group NDFB (S) at 2:30 am today morning (approx).

The apprehended cadres belong to the 42nd batch of Myanmar. The apprehended are, namely, Rimal Basumatary from Kokrajar district, Ranjit Brahma from Kokrajhar district, Teju Narzary from Sonitpur district and Anita Narzary from Sonitpur district.
