BREAKING: Gauhati University cancels 3rd semester exams for UG students

GUWAHATI: The examinations of the 3rd-semester students of the colleges affiliated by Gauhati University (GU) have been cancelled today.

In a notification, GU said, The students will be "promoted as done" in the earlier semester .

Meanwhile,  the 6th Semester Under Graduate courses examinations will be held in the second half of August 2021.

The examination will be conducted in online mode only. As per the notification, 60% syllabus will be covered in the final semester examination. The 60% course of the syllabus will cover starting from unit-I to 60% of the syllabus.

The University was going to issue proper instruction on the conduct of practical classes shortly, it said.
