SHILLONG: Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma addressing the election rally at Adokgre to drum up support for Kharkutta candidate Edbirth D Shira reminded the gathering about the commitment that his National People's Party (NPP) has made towards the state.

The chief minister also said that his father, the late PA Sangma, had a vision for the people of Garo Hills and Meghalaya, and the National People's Party (NPP) is working along to fulfill his dreams.

He also said that the GHADC is in a mess as the Congress party failed to make necessary reforms.

NPP is working to usher in much-needed development for the state and it is truly committed to the people, Sangma added.
