Government of Sikkim decides no winter vacation except for high altitude schools

The Sikkim education department during a recently held departmental meeting Chaired by ACS,

decided that there will be no winter vacation this except for Sikkim 's high altitude schools.

The Examination cell was accordingly directed to issue revised Academic Calendar 2020-2021 immediately.

The notice stated:

1.Name and location of schools above 8000 feet.

2.Suggest short winter break about 2/3 week's (with appropriate date and period).

due to extremely harsh climate condition during the month of December/January. This may be treated as MOST URGENT please"
