Greater Tipraland demand fulfillment will bring greater celebration, promises Pradyot Manikya

AGARTALA: The Tipraha Indigenous Peoples Regional Alliance (TIPRA) chief and royal scion Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma today said that a ‘greater celebration’ will be held “when we will get our Greater Tipraland, and this Tipraland would be inclusive of BJP, IPFT, and CPM.”

Pradyot Manikya said this after his party had secured their victory in Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections with an absolute majority.

Talking to InsideNE earlier, the TIPRA chief Pradyot Manikya expressed his elation for winning an ‘absolute majority and opined that his party “shall not compromise” on any of its key promises in the run-up to the elections.

Via a Facebook live, the royal scion urged his party workers to refrain from violent acts as retaliation to yesterday’s attack on him by thugs suspected to be from rival parties.

“If Tiprasa will attack Tiprasa, others will laugh at us. There should be a difference between Bubagra’s party and the other parties,” said Debbarma on Facebook live through his page.

“I want to urge all my party workers and supporters, do not to vandalize other party offices. Tangsa never forget this, they are Tiprasa too,” Debbarma added.

In the same video, Pradyot also told his party workers that in the upcoming days, others are going to join TIPRA too.

“In the upcoming days, people on the other side will also join us and support us. If you attack them today, it will convey a wrong message,” said Debbarma.
