Guwahati boy shines at international MMA event held in West Bengal

Guwahati, December 31, 2018:

Abhijit Gogoi of Dastbi MMA, Guwahati has made Assam proud by securing 3rd position in International Friendship Cup 2018 organised by All India Kyokushin Karate Association (AIKKA), West Bengal on 30th December 2018. He knocked down one black belt from Bangladesh in just 5 seconds. He has bagged 3rd Prize for India whereas Korea and Nepal took the first and second positions respectively.

Abhijit Gogoi, who is aged 18, is training under Angkim Kashyap Sharma in Dastbi MMA, Guwahati. In his words "I want to thank my Coach and team Dastbi for their constant support. My coach has always inspired me who gives us technical and effective training. For his efforts, we are now able to represent Assam and India in many good platforms and coming out with flying colours. My parents and family have always encouraged me for Martial Arts. I want to make Dastbi and my Family proud"
