GUWAHATI CITY FC TO HOLD TRIALS FOR U18 TEAM

As part of long term youth structure program, Guwahati City FC (GCFC) has decided to form its age group youth teams to participate in various state and national youth competitions including youth I-League.

With the objectives of scouting local talents and give them proper stage to perform, GCFC will hold first ever trial for its under 18 youth team on 5th and 6th of May at Horticulture Research Station, Kahikuchi in association with Sportscraft Management, Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Guwahati and Egua. The players must produce authentic age proof certificate and photo ID.

GCFC shall also form its U-15 and U-13 teams in coming days. Soccer schools in various parts of the city and a youth academy will also be launched soon, said chakraborty.

He also informed that the club shall start a professional league featuring 6 to 13 years old footballers in adherence to All India Football Federation's ambitious baby league.
