Guwahati Gears Up for Blend of Music & Ethnic Flavor at "4th International Music Fest"

The countdown of the fourth edition of Guwahati International Music Festival has begun. Scheduled for a grand opening on February 29, Saturday, the Music Fest will be held in the hub of most of the cultural programs in the city, Shilpgram.

The Guwahati International Music Festival is all set to take the city people on board with the main attractions being the 90s Pop Artist and soulful singer Lucky Ali and Benny Dayal, the new age singer.

With the two favorite artistes of the millennials, the fourth Guwahati International Music Festival is ready to hit the weekend evenings with popular numbers.

It will also showcase a line-up that brings together some of the most significant artists from the Asian circuit. It will feature artists from more than 9 countries - Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia, USA, Bangladesh, Nepal, Reunion Island (French Territory) and 6 Amazing Acts from NE India whom we discovered in our State-level auditions.

Benny Dayal will perform on February 29 while Lucky Ali on March 1. The music festival will also feature and witness International Acts from various artists such as Asia 7 (Thailand), OPNAIRDRGMKT (Vietnam), Rajan Shrestha aka Phatcowlee (Nepal), Md. Shahjahan Munshi (Baul), Gayen (Bangladesh) and Doga Fara (Reunion Island).

To add the regional flavor, the fest will also present artists like Sound of the Hills (Mizoram), Dr. Dope and Bottle Rockets India. It will further host the ethnic food festival with exquisite and mouth-watering delicacies from Northeastern States

Also, an ethnic food competition for homemakers will be held from 12 pm - 2pm on March 1, 2020. Gates will be opened at 2 pm for the public and the entry in the venue is free.
