Guwahati Police Commissioner promoted as ADGP (SB)

Guwahati, May 29, 2019:

Commissioner of Police, Guwahati Deepak Kumar has been promoted to the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Special Branch (SB) in Assam in the recent reshuffling.

On the other hand, current Additional Director General of Police (Admin, Security, and M&L), Assam, Harmeet Singh, has been posted as Additional Director General of Police (V&AC), Assam. However,

Harmeet Singh will continue to function as Additional Director General of Police (Admin, Security, and M&L), Assam.

It is to be mentioned that Deepak Kumar has been sworn in as the Commissioner on December 31.
