If you force to sell farms, we will bring tractor to parliament: Rahul Gandhi

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday drove a tractor to reach parliament to stage his protest against the farms laws.

Reportedly, the security officials stopped him and was not allowed entry to the parliament premises on the vehicle.

The Congress leader was accompanied by party colleague and Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda.

Taking to twitter, the Congress Leader said, "If you will force to sell the farms, we will bring tractor to the the parliament. The crops of truth will definitely grow".

Speaking to reporters outside the Parliament, Rahul said that the Modi government should repeal the three "controversial" farm laws.

"I have brought the message of farmers to the Parliament. They are not allowing discussion over their demands in Parliament. Farmers are being crushed, their voices are being suppressed...that is why we are here. These are black laws...they will have to withdraw the laws," said Gandhi.

"The laws will only benefit 2-3 businessmen... the whole country knows whom these laws will benefit," he added.
