India-South Africa T20I Match Abandoned due to Heavy Rain

The first Twenty 20 International match between India and South Africa that was scheduled in Dharamsala on Sunday was abandoned due to heavy incessant rain.

The rainfall filled the field with water and it remained filled even after the rain slowed down.

It was reported that due to the heavy rainfall, even the toss could not take place. After this now the teams will move to Mohali for the second T20I.

Even though the stadium was well equipped with a properly planned drainage system, almost 50 per cent of the ground was filled with water puddles.

However, spectators in hope of witnessing at least a bit of the game stayed for hours on the ground but due to the water, the match was abandoned.
