India's active caseload COVID-19 declines to 24,95,591

NEW DELHI: The active caseload of COVID-19 in India has further declined to 24,95,591.

Meanwhile, India reported 2.08 lakh new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 2.71 crore since the pandemic began in December 2019.

The toll risen up to 4,157 to 3,11,388,

In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases has decreased by 91,191.

A total of 2,43,50,816 total recoveries across the country have been reported so far.

2,95,955 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.

Recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 13 days in a row.

The recovery rate in India increases to 89.66%.

Weekly positivity rate currently at 11.45%.

Daily positivity rate at 9.42%, less than 10% for 2 days in a row.

Moreover, more than 20 Crore doses of vaccine have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and highest ever 22.17 lakh tests conducted in a single day.
