THRISSUR: India's first COVID-19 patient who tested positive for the virus last year has tested positive yet again this year.

Reportedly, the medical student from Kerala's Thrissur district contracted the virus last year and later recovered from it.

The 20 year old student who is a student at medical university in Wuhan China was tested positive for the virus for the second time after a test was conducted at the Airport.

As per reports, the student is not showing symptoms and is currently in isolation at her home.

She has not been administered with the COVID vaccine yet, reports said.

The medical student contracted the virus in Wuhan. Later on she was admitted to Thrissur Medical college hospital in Kerala.  She was discharged from the hospital on February 2020 after testing negative for the virus.
