Javed Akhtar to write biopic about Rakhi Sawant's life?

MUMBAI: Rakhi Sawant recently claimed that veteran lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar wanted to make a biopic on her life.

Rakhi Sawant, it needs mention here, returned to the spotlight due to her entry in 'Bigg Boss 14.'

Legendary poet, lyricist, and screenwriter confirmed that he does indeed want to write a script for Rakhi Sawant's biopic after rumours started popping up on the internet.

He said, "No, she is right. I think some four or five years back we were on the same flight and she told me about her childhood and I did tell her that someday I would like to write a script based on her life.”

In an interview, Rakhi Sawant said, "They want a biopic to be made on me, but my biopic will be very controversial and I do not know whether the people of the country would like to see it or not.”

"I was called by Javed Akhtar before the Coronavirus pandemic a year ago. He said that he wanted to write my biopic and meet me,” he added.

Rakhi Sawant said, “If Javed Akhtar writes the script then Farhan Akhtar can direct it.”

"But after that day, I did not get to meet him. They want make a biopic about me, but my biopic will be very controversial and I do not know whether the people of the country would like to see it or not”, said Rakhi.
