New Delhi: Vinod Kumar Chaudhary spends his days at Jawaharlal Nehru University punching numbers, yet few people are aware that this quiet, yet brilliant guy holds nine Guinness World Records.

Chaudhary, a 41-year-old computer operator at JNU's School of Environmental Sciences (SES), set his most recent record during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown last year.

The records set by Chaudhary, from quickest typing with his nose in 2014 to fastest typing blindfolded and fastest typing with a mouth stick, adorn the walls of a computer centre he runs at home for underprivileged and disabled children.

When I received my certificate for the record, it gave me with a new level of enthusiasm, and I began practising for additional similar records. I spent a year practising and and I made two records in 2016, Chaudhary added.

In 2016, he set a new record for fastest typing blindfolded of all alphabets in 6.71 seconds, followed by a new record for fastest typing in 6.09 seconds.
