Kohima School Boy Sacrifices Shirt to Help Bleeding Friend

A young Naga boy, Qutuzo Dozo, has earned praise from social media users, after an act of genuine benevolence act was discovered, and soon became the talk of Kohima town.

Dozo, who is a Class 6 student studying in DBS Kohima, sacrificed his school shirt to help his friend, who was bleeding from a finger injury.

It so happened that one of Dozo's classmate badly hurt his finger, after which he was bleeding profusely. After the students saw their friend bleeding, they tried to help him friend using paper strips in order to stop the bleeding, but to no avail.

Then Dozo had the idea of using his handkerchief but as it was not clean, as he had been using it to wipe the sweat off his face, he chose not to use it. With no alternate left to help his friend ,he took out his small scissors and snipped out a portion of his white school shirt and immediately bound his friend's bleeding finger, which stopped the bleeding after a while.

This young little boy then pulled down his sweater to cover his shirt till he reached home and informed his mother of the events leading to his predicament.

Meanwhile, social media users have lauded this kid's presence of mind, and had kind words for his act of compassion. One user wrote that he should receive a bravery award, while another cheeky reply read, "He deserves 3 more white shirts".
