Kokrajhar BJP Mourns Death of Former Union Minister Arun Jaitley

Kokrajhar, August 24, 2019:

The Kokrajhar Unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has mourned the death of former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, today.

Addressing the Press, the Kokrajhar BJP's General Secretary said that "It is a time of immense grief for our BJP family as we have lost one of our greatest assets. Arun Jaitley ji is no longer with us.."

On behalf of the Kokrajhar BJP, the Kokrajhar BJP General Secretary paid his heartfelt condolences to Jaitley and his family, and requested everyone to stand together in this moment of grief, irrespective of partly lines.

"Also, I request all our party members to unite and follow his principles and help fulfil Jaitley ji’s dream of making India the greatest nation", he said, adding that Jaitley's death is a great loss for the entire nation.

Earlier, the former Union Finance Minister of India, Arun Jaitley, had breathed his last. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader was admitted to AIIMS in New Delhi since August 9 after he had complained of "breathlessness".

Jaitley, who was an important member of the Nadrendra Modi-led NDA Government, had held the finance and defence portfolios under the Modi regime. He was also a former attorney.

This will come as a major blow to the BJP, which had recently lost another senior leader, former External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, recently.
