In a heart-rending incident, a mother was compelled to carry the body of her 3-year-old child home as no ambulance was provided to the family by Hospital authorities amid lockdown.

A video that surfaced on social media shows the family of three walking the streets to reach their village in Kurtha, Bihar. While the mother carried her child in her arms sobbing inconsolably, the father carried the other child and headed for their village in the absence of a vehicle.

The Doctor asked us to take him in the ambulance and that we have provide him with oxygen while transferring him to the next Hospital."
