BAKSA: A man from Baksa district of Assam was found dead with a slit throat along the Indo-Bhutan border today.

The body of the dead man was found at the Sashipur area along the Indo-Bhutan border near the Tamulpur sub-division under Baksa district.

The deceased has been identified as Gosai Biswas (40) a resident of Sashipur.

According to sources, unknown miscreants killed the man by slitting his throat late Saturday night.

An unidentified miscreant kills Biswas by slitting his throat in his house in absence of his family members.

Locals informed the Darrangamela police, following which a police team from Darrangamela Police Station rushed to the spot for further investigation.

However, it has yet to be determined who is responsible for the heinous killing and why they committed such a heinous crime.
