Manipur: Gold biscuits seized, four held

Based on specific inputs, sleuths of the Customs Preventive Force seized 25 gold biscuits of foreign origin and arrested four persons in connection with the seizure. The seizure was made on Friday at Customer Check Gate at Pallel.

The biscuits, weighing 4,150 grams, were valued at Rs.1.25 crore. The four people arrested were identified as Abdul Waris, Rajak Khan, Md. Rajaoddin and BM Samir. A Maruti van, used by the accused, was also seized.
