Students should participate in debates while taking up leadership roles, she said. Heptulla is hopeful that the ‘Coadunate Contra Conflict’ themed conference which includes debates and discussions, will encourage the students in public speaking and motivate them.

The conference organized at Imphal’s Hotel Classic Grande will conclude on October 7. The Governor added that such gathering challenges young students to use their thinking ability critically. Participating in the occasional debates help students to look at things differently and understand how the real world works.
