Guwahati, May 6, 2019:

19-year-old stud, Pranav Bakhshi has walked the ramp. What is so special about that, you might ask? Well, by walking the ramp, Pranav has become the first male model in the country suffering from autism. This young stud has broken the stereotype (that especially exists in India) that modelling is not for people like him.

The modelling industry has always been accepting of people who are "different" -- from launching the dark-skinned beauty as the face of many international brands, to seeing the likes of vitiligo-afflicted Winniw Harlow scorch the most high-profile shows around the world -- the modelling industry has shown that it is very warm and accepting of people from all walks and backgrounds. And now, Pranav's name can be added to the list of trendsetters.

Pranav has it all -- brooding eyes, chiselled jaw line, a great height -- and the modelling fraternity has not turned its backs on him due to his disorder.

The youngster, who hails in Dehradun, has taken his disorder in his stride and even lists it as his "superpower" in his Instagram bio. He has also expressed that he has keen interest in photography and golf. If you follow his Instagram account, you will see that the New Delhi-based teen model is also a hardcore fitness freaks and he keeps uploading his workout videos on his account.

Now after walking the ramp for many famous Indian brands, he has expressed a desire to model for international brands.

Pranav has now signed Ninja Model Management, which is one of the leading modelling agencies in India, proving that he is moving closer to his dream of walking for big brands.

He has 40 per cent disability. Pranav, in addition to sutism also suffers from echolalia. It is a condition where one repeats everything others say.

It is indeed heartening to see this youngster overcoming his shortcomings and developing his strengths.
