Meghalaya CM lays foundations of two roads at East garo hills

EAST GARO HILLS: Chief minister Conrad K Sangma today laid foundations for the construction of two roads — Nengmandalgre to Daribokre, and Nengmandalgre- Cherangre to Sisobibra road — under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) roads at East garo hills.

The project of Nengmandalgre to Daribokre road will cost around Rs 70.55 crore while the road of Cherangre connecting Sisobibra shall be built for around Rs 12.06 crore.

CM Sangma said, β€œa connected Meghalaya is a developed Meghalaya”.

Laid foundation for the construction of 2 PMGSY roads at #EastGaroHills- Nengmandalgre to Daribokre Road at β‚Ή70.55 Cr & Nengmandalgre- Cherangre jto Sisobibra Road at β‚Ή12.06 Cr. @nstomar,” Sangma wrote in a tweet.

The minister has also inaugurated a new building of the Nengmandalgre Primary Health Centre (PHC) .
