Meghalaya: One held on rape charge in West Khasi Hills

NONGSTOIN: A man in Themiew, Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills, was arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl

The accused, Albert Lyngkhoi (18), a resident of Mawlum Ramkdait village, committed the offence on April 8.

According to the police, he allegedly went to the minor’s house in New Nongstoin on the night of April 8 and allegedly committed the offence,.

Following that, the minor’s father filed a complaint with the Nongstoin Police Station, and the accused was apprehended based on the complaint.
