A new COVID-19 case has been detected in Meghalaya on June 10th, 2020, taking the total confirmed cases to 44.
The person, who went to direct contact with a COVID-19 patient, is under medical supervision.
Informing this Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma tweeted:
Of the 44 confirmed cases, 30 are active and one died due to the infection while 13 people have been cured and discharged.

Assam has highest COVID-19 cases in Northeast India followed by Tripura.

India has crossed 2 lakh-mark in terms of corona positives on June 3rd. On June 10th, the country currently has 2,67,000+ confirmed COVID-19 cases, 133632 active cases with 135205 cured and discharged. The total number of deaths is 7745.
Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 3 thousand deaths. It has recorded 90787 corona cases with 42638 cured, 3289 deaths, and 44860 active cases. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has corona 31309 cases with 11861 cured, 905 deaths, and 18543 active cases. Tamil Nadu has 34914 positive cases with 18325 cured, 307 deaths 16282 active cases. Gujarat with 21014 COVID-19 cases, so far, has 14365 have been cured, 1313 deaths, and 5336 active cases.
