Milind Soman flags off ‘Pinkathon’ in Guwahati

Guwahati (Assam), September 30, 2018:

The fourth edition of Bajaj Electricals “Pinkathon Guwahati”, a run to promote women empowerment, was held in Guwahati on Sunday.

The run was initiated by super model Milind Soman who is also the founder of Pinkathon. The event was aimed at creating awareness among women on breast cancer. The run was in four categories such as three kilometer, five kilometer, 10 km and 21 km.

The run started at 5 am after Soman flagged it off. Over one thousand women participated in the marathon.

Around 30 visually-impaired girls also took part in the programme.

Soman informed that the Pinkathon Forever Community is spread across 100 cities in 10 countries.
