According to them, the porous borders have facilitated the free-flow of illegal and anti-social activities in the state.

Recently, the Chakma body had demanded that the Mizoram border with neighboring Myanmar be sealed. The body had also submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to seal the borders with the neighboring country.
