Addressing the programme ADC Shah said that the training being imparted under SANKALP project as part of aspirational district skill development programme would  help to hone the skills of the weavers in coming up with new designs that will fetch them a readily available market and a constant source of livelihood to them.

Shah also said that if the response from them is good enough, the administration will assist the weavers to buy looms and other appliances.

He said that five sets of looms had been given to begin with and further funds would be arranged by the administration to assist the weavers. He urged the weavers to take help from the instructors and departmental officials to meeting their specifications.
