The former Indian captain, who retired from international cricket with 17,266 runs, three ICC titles, 634 catches, and 195 stumpings, is preparing to lead Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2021 after they finished seventh in the previous season, which was held in the United Arab Emirates.

On April 10, the Chennai Super Kings will play against Delhi Capitals in Mumbai to begin their season. In IPL 2021, none of the eight teams will play in front of home supporters, so Dhoni’s team will not play at home in Chepauk.
