Acting on some leads, accused Mohan Chauhan (45) was arrested by the Sakinaka Police early on Friday under IPC sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 376 (rape).

The police rushed to the spot after they received a call about a man beating up a woman at Khairani Road in Sakinaka. They found the woman lying in a pool of blood and took her to the Rajawadi Hospital, where doctors said she was sexually assaulted.
