Communist Party of India (CPI) General Secretary D Raja on Monday accused the Central Government government of creating "mistrust" by concealing the terms of negotiation with Naga groups.

Meanwhile, sources have revealed that the two parties still have to work on the competencies and that this task may not be a “cakewalk”. Earlier, Nagaland Governor and Interlocutor R N Ravi said that “some loose ends” have to be tied before reaching a “final agreement” to the decades-old negotiations between the two sides, which began in 1997. Ravi had also made it clear that it would be premature to set a time-frame for concluding the Naga Peace Process.
However, Ravi has asserted that all negotiating parties (government of India, NSCN (I-M) and WC of NNPGs) would strive to conclude the Naga Peace Process as soon as possible.
