Nagaland | Grieved by the demise of Major Hoishe H Zhimo: GRPN

Guwahati: The Government of the People's Republic of Nagalim (GRPN) said that it was grieved by the death of one of the Major of the Naga Army.

The GRPN in an statement said, "The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) is grieved by the untimely demise of Major Hoishe H Zhimo; Army No. AB-11420 of the General Headquarters (GHq), Naga Army on the 28th November, 2021 after a prolonged illness. He was from Suruhoto village under Sumi Region. He enrolled in the Naga national service on the 1st June, 1992."

The GRPN stated that the deceased served the "Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise".

"The void created by his demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For his selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and he shall be remembered for all time to come", the statement added.
