Nagaland: Jagadish Mukhi takes oath as new Governor

KOHIMA: Professor Jagadish Mukhi today took oath as the new Governor of Nagaland. Mukhi was administered the oath of office at the Dr. Imkongliba Ao Hall in the Nagaland Raj Bhawan.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio along with Deputy CM Y Patton, MLAs and other senior officials were present at the oath taking ceremony.

Congratulating the new Governor, CM Rio tweeted, “Congratulations, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi @jagdishmukhi on taking oath as the new Governor of Nagaland. On behalf of the people of the state, I extend a very warm welcome to you. I wish you the best for your new assignment and also for the years ahead. @RajBhavanKohima.
