NSCN (K), appointed Lt Gen (R) Nyemlang Konyak Naga as the new Chairman. On a first Nyemlang wrote a presidential address where he raised key issues regarding Nagaland. From the peace treaty to other Naga compromising on their stand, all of these find mention in his letter.
“Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to all my fellow Nagas on this momentous and auspicious occasion of salvaging our revolutionary movement for our Sovereign Politician rights all over our God gifted Naga lands, which belong to Jesus Christ alone and will never sell or betray Christianity to any other religion.
I give all credit for this God-given golden opportunity to God and the Naga people and as President, solemnly pledge my allegiance to the Naga’s Sovereign Political rights. As the president, r will stand and defend the Sovereign Political Rights of the WEST, EAST, NORTH, SOUTH areas wherever Nagas are for our Inherent Sovereign political rights along with all like-minded Nagas.
In the present context of Naga Polity, Sadly the ugly truth is the fact that Compromised presidents of so-called factional presidents are woefully dime a dozen, Therefore, Keeping that in mind and with every aspect thorough introspected, NSCN/GPRN with the prodigal President who in this story decided to change his own parents instead of coming back. Our actions will speak for themselves as NSCN/GPRN navigate the turbulent political waters where wolves in sheep’s clothing are at every nook and corner of the Naga political path. The foes have infiltrated our ranks trying to breach our last standing defenders of sovereign political rights and the saddest part is the extent to which even former President Mr Yung Aung was compromised with Nscn Im which Is a leading party to the 3rd August 2015 accord of economic settlement within India constitution. The Indian government is desperately trying all means to destroy the last bastion of the defenders of Naga sovereign political rights. The enemies do not realise the futility of their all-out assault as Gods merciful intervention has and will protect and fight our rights of sovereignty with the NSCN/GPRN leading the charge. Almost all our leaders have died in foreign lands but our great leader late SS Khaplang who bears the honourable distinction of never giving in or giving up Naga sovereign lights, till his last breathe in Nagaland, leaving behind a glorious legacy of standing up for our rights with God by our side, come what may. Therefore, NSCN/GPRN would carry-on his glorious legacy of defending our inherent Sovereign political rights and the continuation of support and solidarity to all Nations who are wrongfully oppressed In their struggle for freedom”.
President Lt. Gen (Rtd). Nyemlang Konyak Naga.
