DIMAPUR: Nagaland recorded four more COVID-19 related deaths and 44 new cases today.

The new cases pushed the state's total number of COVID-19 cases to 29,195, while with the new fatalities being reported during the day the state's COVID death toll stands at 591.

Of the 44 fresh cases, Dimapur registered 11, Kohima 14, Longleng 1, Mokokchung 15, Mon 1, and Peren 2.

On the other hand, the Health and Family Welfare Department said two people succumbed to the infection in Dimapur and one each in Kohima and Mokokchung.

In the last 24 hours, there were 111 recoveries, with that the total number of recoveries from the infection stands at 26,601.

Among the 111 recoveries, Dimapur reported 31, Kiphire 1, Kohima 21, Longleng 9, Mokokchung 8, Mon 1, Peren 6, Phek 4, Tuensang 2 and Zunheboto 28.

Nagaland currently has 1,153 active cases and altogether 836 people migrated from the State.
